Please see below for Cale’s summary:: Friday September 5th the Digital team was instructed to put creative in market to capitalize on the opportunity presented by the DirectTV Raycom takedown. OneTen was swift to make the necessary legal and creative changes we requested upon seeing the initial version. Jorge Angelini stayed past 5:30pm to finish developing 12 versions of creative (one for each target city) across 5 banner sizes for a total of 60 animated assets. Hello. I have worked at DISH Network with Jorge directly for over 4 years and have reviewed a multitude of layouts that he designed that include print layouts and some web interfacing applications. Jorge is a positive, collaborative, professional and creative person who has an amazing ability to come up with multiple high quality design options quickly. He has an advanced level of experience with numerous design programs, creative ideas and a refreshing, positive attitude that is invaluable. I have worked with Jorge on simple and very complicated jobs and he approaches them all with a “can do” attitude and doesn’t hesitate to find new ways to solve design challenges at every stage of the design process to completion of the job. I had the pleasure of working with Jorge Angelini for over three years at DISH.  During this time (7/2008 – 9/2011), I was in a management position and was a client to the Creative Services group.  While much of the creative work managed at DISH is for corporate advertising efforts and existing customer communications, I was responsible for delivering creative materials to DISH’s large, independent Retailer base. Jorge was frequently the designer responsible for Retailer creative and I had the opportunity to work with him on countless projects and jobs. Jorge was a very valuable asset through the entire creative process.  In creative planning, Jorge asked intuitive questions, shared new and exciting ideas and always made sure the meetings concluded with a clear, executable plan.  His understanding of the Retailer model and design abilities allowed him to deliver a variety of creative options within deadline. Jorge was always open to input and discussion and often helped me better understand the consumer standpoint when reviewing advertising. In addition to top notch creative abilities and professionalism, I also had the opportunity to observe Jorge’s interactions with other team members, up to and including Executive level personnel.  Jorge consistently provided constructive feedback, was open to understanding a new angle/opinion and was known for his ability to make changes quickly and turn out creative before deadline. Jorge designed and published several pieces of marketing collateral when I started up my business. Biggest of which was the creation of my logo. He really did a great job of understanding my industry and interpreting my own vision into the logo I use today.

Jorge is an exceptional talent. He is a consummate professional. In all the projects we engaged in he always took my ideas to the next level and constantly amazed me how he was able to take even a well thought out design and, in either grand or subtle ways dramatically improve it. I’ve had the opportunity to view his portfolio and seen many examples of work he has done. To say I’m impressed is a hefty understatement. Furthermore, I’d consider Jorge easy to work with, responsible and congenial. He would be an asset to any employer.
